Element Completes Three Peaks Challenge Raising £12,000

Element Completes the Three Peaks Challenge

The Element team accompanied by some of our fantastic clients have completed the National Three Peaks Challenge, raising £12,000 for our chosen charities, Shooting Star Children’s Hospices and Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

In all, the team covered nearly 40km and ascended over 10,052ft in a race against the clock, scaling the biggest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in just over 24 hours.

The intrepid team comprised members of the Element Communications team including Tom Webb, Simon Moss, Tilly Wilkinson, Becca Jones and Jonny Kerr, alongside some of our amazing clients, Matt Bunn and John Downes (Capita Scaling Partner), Nikki de Kretser (Cirrus), Jo Derry-Bennett (Lemongrass) and Kuljeet Briah (Performanta).

Here’s some information on the two charities that are so close to our hearts:

Shooting Stars Children’s Hospices
As a leading children’s hospice charity supporting over 700 children, and their families, every year throughout Surrey and across 15 boroughs of London, Shooting Stars cares for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions. Supporting families throughout their most difficult times, Shooting Stars provides nursing, practical, emotional and medical care from diagnosis to end of life care, through to bereavement.

It costs £8.8 million a year to maintain the exceptional work that Shooting Stars provides, and just 11% of that income comes from central government funding. By supporting our challenge, your generosity will go directly to the running of these critical services.

Cystic Fibrosis Trust
Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the charity uniting people to stop cystic fibrosis. Funding vital research, improving care, and speaking out in the race towards effective treatments for all, the Cystic Fibrosis Trust is here to make sure everyone with cystic fibrosis can live without limits.

At the forefront of innovation and progress, the trust is leading ground-breaking research and making incredible discoveries to change lives for the better.  Their tireless work is supporting people with cystic fibrosis to live longer, healthier lives.

THANK YOU to everyone who so generously supported us. The funds will go directly towards projects that have such a significant impact on people’s lives.
