Sustainability tech firm Sweep appoints Element Communications as its UK PR agency

Sweep, one of Europe’s leading climate tech companies, has appointed Element Communications to run PR and communications in the UK.

Founded by Rachel Delacour, Raphael Güller and Yannick Chaze, Sweep is a sustainability data management platform that already boasts an impressive list of clients including L’Oréal, EDF, Lacoste and Hewlett-Packard.

Element will lead an ambitious integrated communications campaign including multichannel content creation, media relations and supporting customer success.

“At Sweep we have witnessed a rapid increase in need for sustainability solutions,” Daniel Barney, VP of Marketing at Sweep, commented. “However, recognising that you have to do something and translating this into real action are two very different things.

“Businesses of all shapes and sizes, across a huge variety of industries, have different challenges, ranging from comprehensive net zero strategies to reacting to regulatory requirements. But if they are going to take any sort of meaningful action, they must first understand the huge wealth of sustainability data that exists across the business and its value chain.”

“Element will help us tell this story to a wider audience. They have a proven track record supporting ambitious tech companies, while offering the senior strategic advice and consultancy that will support our continued expansion.”

Founded in 2020, Sweep has raised $100m and is led by Rachel Delacour, whose first company BIME Analytics was acquired by Zendesk for $45m in 2015.

Simon Moss, Director at Element Communications, added: “We are hugely proud to be partnering with Sweep, a mission-driven organisation with a fantastic leadership team committed to helping businesses transition to the low carbon economy.”
